This targa (with a small 't') was a 3.2 G50 Carrera in need of restoration. The owner had seen some of our backdates and had in mind a subtle backdate, with the aim of creating a classy look in a practical, usable car. So of course, it started with a complete strip-down ...

... followed, of course, by the inevitable build-up, with new front wings and long bonnet ...

... backdated rear panel and twin-outlet exhaust ...

... and classic-style bumper.

Then it was on to paint

... and more paint, followed by assembly

... to create the beautiful finished article.
