This could be the start of a trend: a Porsche 993 backdated with carbon fibre panels. Of the panels you can see, only the doors and the scuttle panel (forward of the windscreen) are steel - the rest are carbon fibre. As everyone knows, carbon fibre is very light; but it's also amazingly strong (don't tell anyone, but you can stand on the roof without distorting it). We think the car looks fabulous with its flared arches, long bonnet, centre-fill fuel filler, retro lights and Fuchs-style five-petal wheels. Start of a trend? What do you reckon?
